Lieutcnant-generdl Sir Herbert Chirmside was Governor ,of Queensland from 1901 to 1905. MR P. T. O’SULLIVAN. There passed away suddenly at Kel*. burn on Sunday morning a figure wellknown to printers, Mr P. T. O’Sullivan. He had taken an active part in typographical Union matters, at different times being president of the Taranaki and Southland Unions. He was also well known to the older generation of bandsmen, having in his earlier years taken an active pa t at brass baud contests. The interment took place at Timaru, where Mr O’Sullivan had some years ago been resident.
