TAIERI HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

Mr Pilling (president) presided over a meeting of the Taieri Horticultural Society. There \jas a good attendance. It was resolved to hold the spring show on 6ctober 4, afternoon and evening, and for this event stewards and judges were appointed. The sections will include decorative and floral work, children’s decorative work, industrial and baking sections. It was decided to encourage stands; for exhibition only, for which a small fee would be charged.
