(Received Feb. 15, at 10 p.m.) Sir Charles Wakefield has given £SOOO towards the expenses of organising the Schneider Cup race, which are estimated to total between £15,000 and £20,000. The Aero Club has conferred with the mayors of the principal towns overlook-! ing the course regarding arrangements for the reception of the crowds. The club anticipates that there will be 1,000,000 spectators from -the start to the finish. The Cowes course takes in Ryde, Sr-teey, Soutbsea, Portsmouth, Gosport, and Lee-on-Solent. The 75-kilometre ebeuit will be flown five times, a distance of 217 miles. The club proposes to bring liners to the course to act as grand stands;— Service.
