A PROBLEM FOR FRANCE. WORKERS LEAVING THE FARMS. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) PARTS, February 15. (Received Feb. 15, at 30 p.m.) Quoting figures to show the alarming flight from the country to Ifhc city. M. Poincare, in the Senate, declared that the Government was determined that agriculture should not perish. The vital problem was to hold the balance between farming and industry. The Senate passed a vote of confidence in the Government respecting measures to raise and stabilise the price of wheat and organise the co-operative sale thereof. ■—Australian Press Association.
