No one receives so many letters as the popular kinema star. And according to recent reports from Hollywood, the ,r fan mailshows no signs of decreasing. It has been reckoned that over 32,250,000 letters are sent each year to screen favourites from their admirers. The postage on these letters exceeds £129,000, and the replies, with the photographs that are nearly always requested, cost over £387,000.
