OTAGO ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the committee of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was held in the secretary’s board room last night. Mr A. M'Millan presided. The Works Committee submitted a report regarding the laying down of courts at Logan Park. —Received. Dr J. Fulton wrote tendering his resignation as a member of the committee owing to his removal to Wellington.'—lt was resolved that Dr Fulton’s resignation be accepted with regret, at the secretary was instructed to write Dr Fulton express! g the association's appreciation of hi- services. The secretary of the Southland Lawn Tennis Association wrote suggesting March 2 or 9 as suitable dates for the Otago-Southland match at Invercargill. —lt was resolved to accept March 2. as the date for this match.

The secretary of the South Canterbury Association wrote asking the association to suggest a date for a representative match between Otago and South Canterbury in Dunedin.—lt was resolved to suggest March 9 as a suitable date for this match. ■

The secretary of the North Otago Lawn Tennis Association wrote accepting March 23 as the date for the match between Otago and .North Otago in Dunedin. The secretary of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association wrote asking for r ticulars of the Junior Association, and it _ was left to the secretary to supply this information.

The Taieri Club wrote for permission to hold a Yankee tourney on March 16Granted.

The secretary of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association wrote confirming Saturday, February 23, as the date for the annual representative match between Otago and Canterbury, to be played at the Anderson’s. Bay courts. —It was resolved that the price of admission would be adults Is, children 6d; play to commence at 10 a.m. The entertainment of the visitors was left in the hands of Messrs Br y and R. Phillipps to arrange. It was resolved to hold the McMillan Cup Yankee tournament on March 16. entries to close on Monday. March 11.
