BUFFALOES’ CARNIVAL

The Buffaloes’s carnival was continued in Burns Hall last evening, when there was a good attendance of enthusiastic amusement seekers. The stalls and games did good business throughout the evening, but it was the special feature —the waltzing competion —which attracted the most interest. There was a satisfactory number of competitors, and a close contest resulted, the placed competitors being: Miss Simpson and Mr Jamieson 1, Mrs Aiming and Mr Macdonald 2. Madame Zedi again proved very popular as a fortune teller. The carnival will be concluded to-day when the chief feature will be a baby show in the afternoon.
