TOTALS SINCE ll)l!>. (United Press Association! > (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, February 13.- ■ (Received Feb. 14, at 5.5 p.m.) In the House of Commons, Mr G. Locker Lampson, answering Mr Herbert Williams, stated that the yearly totals since 19ID of British emigrants were 115.000, 198,000, 136,000, 118,000. 158.000, 139,000, 108,000, 136,000, 126,000 and 111,000. The yearly totals since 1922-23 of those assisted; by;the Empire Settlement Act were 13,000, 39.000. 40,000, 41,000, 66,000, 57,000, and for thV last nine months 38,000. The respective expenditures were:— £35,000, £35,000, £425,000, £423,000, £570,000, £1,120,000, £1,283,000 and £784,000. —Australian Press Association —United Service.
