The monthly meeting of the Otago Land Board was held on Wednesday and Thursday of this week; present—Messrs R. S. Galbraith (chairman), James Smith. T. A. Munro, C. J. Indor, and 6. Livingstone. Davis applied for a crib site license over section 2 of the Shag Point subdivision, block IX, Moeraki, area 17 perches.—Year to year right to occupy granted at annual rental of £l. Robert; Anthony Paterson applied for a yearly .'license over tailings reserve adjoining section 17, block XI, Maniototo.— Referred to field inspector for a report. The commissioner submitted for consideration by the board the matter of the cancellation of license 3256, in the name of J. P O’Malley, over an area of °23 acres in block 11, Tarras. part of the Mount Pisa block.—License to continue until further notice. The Land Board was asked to determine the license over an area in blocks r l mf™ '.III, etc., Benger, in the name ox Ihomas Ferguson.—License determined as from October 13, 1926. .. The board was asked to determine 43, block I, Pomabaka, in the name of Eva Shanks, and to approve of the issue of a new license over the same land to Henry John Scott and Jeannie Scott.— Existing license determined and new license on same terms and conditions granted to Henry John Scott and Jeannie Scott.

George Clonghley applied to have his license over the area opposite section 8, block VII, Gatlins, determined.—License determined as from December 12, 1927 The board was asked to consider the disbursement of the amount paid for improvements in- connection with the reselection of section la, Duncan settlement.—Receiver of Land Revenue authorisccl to disburse tbc money as sugeested by the commissioner.
