Un- ] salted (01 entries): First, Oakey ( (Queensland), 96; second, and reserve, ■ South Wolumlfi (N.S.W.), 05J; second, i Maryborough (Queensland), 94 J ; third, I Dalby Downs (Queensland) and Shan- 1 non (New Zealand), equal, 94; very highly commended, Northern Central (N.S.W.), 934; commended, Downs (Goombungec) and Downs (Toowoomba), each 93. Cheese. —New Zealand won all the prizes. Edendale first, Cardiff second, Fairfax third. ■South Africa took all the awards for eggs and. bacon. 1 The Australian Trade Publicity De- 1 paitment staged a large and excellent t display, comprising butter, cheese, i eggs, bacon and honey. Photographs of 1 dairy farms and pastoral scenes at- 1 traded much attention. The department sold attractive twopenny samples of butter and threepenny jars of honey. The judges of dominion butter speak most highly of the general quality of the exhibits.
