The Ford works have suffered a serious setback from the activities of a foreign gentleman who goes by the name of aturina Callyea, an immigrant who hac been repeatedly beating the astute Henry and making money on the deal. As the cars are assembled by passing down a line of operators, so applicants are admitted after passing down a line of windows where various qualifications are examined. Men who could not make the required physical standards went to the windows and gave their general qualifications, but when it came to the medical examination room Callyea’s men took their places. Now the motor man has discovered the deception, and already 100 unwan teds have been informed that their services were not required, and it is believed that 700 more will shortly leave the employ of the Ford company. Ford has commenced a prosecution against Callyea.
