FARMERS’ UNION.
WELLINGTON ‘BRANCH. (Per United Pbebs Association.) FEILDING, April 20. The Wellington Provincial Farmers’ Union met here to-day. The union was opposed to the inclusion of farm labourers under the provisions of the Arbitration Act. It was decided to circularise a petition in opposition to tho re-enactment of daylight saving. _ A resolution was carried approving oi the women’s division ol the union having representation at the Dominion Conference. Arrangements were made to hold the annual provincial conference in Feilding on May 30 and 31.
