SUNDAY SERVICES.
The Rev. R. Ferguson Fish will speak on the lirst of a eeries of addresses on the great “ I anvs '* of Jesus Christ; taking on Sunday morning “I am the Bread of Life." , The Rev. H. E. Bellhouee will conduct both services at Trinity Methodist Church. Stuart street, to-morrow, preaching in the evening on “The Present-day Challenge of Anzac.’ Special anthems will be rendered. “Lest wa Forget,” a preparation for Anzac Day, will be the subject taken by the Rev. W. B. Scott at the Cargill Road Methodist Church on Sunday night. On Anzac Night at 7.30, a lantern service, with Gallipoli and other yiews ; will be conducted by Mr Scott in W esley Church. The annual teachers’ Covenant service wiM be conducted by the Rev. E. S. Tuckwell, 8.A., at the Hanover Street Baptist Church to-morrow morning. In the evening he will preach on ‘‘Reconciliation.’ “The Causes of War” will be-the-sub-ject of the Rev. Tiriloch Yuille’s morning address in Knox Church to-morrow, and in the evening he will speak ■ on “ The Waste of War." At the Salvation Army Fortress tomorrow, Staff Captain Buttimore will conduct special public services. A welcome for all. '* The Rev. W. H. Hocking will conduct both services at the Dundas Street Methodist Church to-morrow. The morning service will be followed by the administration of the Sacrament of the _ Lord’s Supper. An Anzac commemoration service will be held in the evening. The choir will sing, " Saviour Thy Children Keep,” and Mr G. Christie will render as cornet numbers. “ The Trumpeter ” and the “ Last Pest.” 1 Harvest thanksgiving services will be held at the United Congregational Chuch, the morning preacher being the Rev. C. Maitland Elliss, and the Rev. George Miller occupying the pulpit in the evening. The latter service will be choral in character, the. choir having the assistance of Miss Ray Stubbs, Mrs E. Ewart. Miss Doris Zaffer, Mr Les Stubbs, and Mr G. Dyer as soloists. A Citizens’ Anzac Memorial Service will be hehl in the Octagon Hall of the Central Mission to-morrow at 6.30 p.m. The Rev. W. Walker, C-F., will preach on “ The Faith of the Solos will be rendered by Messrs Ernest Drake and F. Tuohy. Miss Anita Winkel will recite “ The March of the Anzac Men.” Two laments will be played by the Dunedin Highland Pipe Band. The Cadet Band, under the chfirge of Sergeant-major Napier, will sound the “ Last Post ” and “Reveille.” Mr C. A. Martin will officiate at the organ, and the choir will be under the direction of Mr M. Peake.
