SOCIETY OF WOMEN MUSICIANS.
The annual meeting of the Society of Women Musicians of Otago was held at the Bristol concert chamber. Miss E. Yorston presided, and in her opening remarks spoke of the unity of the club and the pleasure she had had in working with its members during her three years of office. Miss Beatrice Barth, the newlyelected president, then took th e chair, and spoke in eulogistic terms of Miss Version's time of office—three years of invaluable work—and said in the year to come she desired the co-operation of the club, recognising, as she did, that no club would fulfil its mission without that quality. Miss Ida G. White moved the adaption of the report and Miss Mary Frazer seconded it. Mrs H. C. Campbell and Miss Meda Paine also spoke in terms of appx-eciation of the retiring president and two members of the committee, Miss M. G. Bannatyn e and Miss K. G. Sinclair.
The following officers were elected: President. Miss Beatrice Barth ; vice-pre-sidents—Miss E Yorston Miss I. White, Miss M. Frazer; committee—Mrs H. C. Campbell. Misses E. M. Logie. M. Paine, R. Parker, M Whitele.y, S. Green. A. Sinclair, and .1, Tones ; secretary. Miss I. Barth ; editress, Mrs G. C. Begg. Thp membershin roll numbered 123. The balance sheet showed a credit of £42 6s 2d
Miss W Sunderland was elected hon auditor for the ensuing gear.
