He states: “I want to do for Australia what James Oliver Curwood did for Canada.” —Australian Press Association. Mr Alexander Macdonald, F.R.G.S., F.R.S.. G.S., was one of the pioneers of the Klondyke goldfields. He has led various exploring and geological expeditions into the interior of Australia, and has travelled in the remoter parts of nearly every country in the world.
