PRINCESS THEATRE.
For some time past Fuller's Follies have been working overtime rehearsing a new musical comedy, and the lesult of diligent efforts will be seen this afternoon in," Maid of the South"—the appropriate title of the latest addition to the Follies repertoire. There is a hum of live wires in this high-volt l comedy which moves at a dizzy pace from start to finish. Eric Masters, the writer and producer, has had his eye on the picturesque scenes that go to make up this happy concoction, and in ..his connection' he has exploited to the full the aceful and agile ballet. "The Six Di,' ties," in new and glittering accoutrements, will distill a rare charm throughout the proceedings per medium of some more joyous whirlings and curvetings. The music of the new piece is also strong—a dozen or so melodious and enticing numbers feature in the production. The laughter-making department is in the safe hands of Stud Foley and Harry Gould, the former having provided himself with some rich opportunities for the exercise of his bountiful wit. Dalton Pnyne, the Scottish comedian, w"' ably assist them, and other members of this talented troupe are given ample chance to display their talent. The piece will be alluringly mounted, the Fuller firm having gone to considerable expense to make this a truly do luxe show.
