A DELICATE SITUATION. STATEMENT BY MR BRUCE. MELBOURNE, March 3. . In the House of Representatives Mr Bruce, in reply to a question hv Mr M. Charlton (the Labour Loader) whether communications had passed between the British (lovernment and the Commonwealth Government in respect to the position in China, said that the Commonwealth had been kept informed of the position by the British Government; but it was impossible to publish the course which the latter proposed to take in the difficult and delicate situation.
