ALLEGED THEFT.

A CLERK CHARGED. (Pen United Press Association.! HAMILTON. February 11. James Frederick Repson, a young clerk employed nt the Government B<v\vmill at Frankton, was charged this morning with the theft of £4 7.- Gd. It was stated that the total sum involved was about £374, hut much of the amount was in nnn-negotinble cheques and had since been recovered. Ihe sum in rash alleged to have been stolen was about £2O. The Senior Sergeant said other charges were pending and a. remand was granted till Wednesday, bail being allowed, one surety of £IOO.
