A LENGTHY LIST. TWO OFFENDI'IRS SENTENCED. (Pes United Press Association.) MASTKRTON, February 11. At the court to-day George Huia Brov. ,-r and Edgar Arthur Peterson were charged with converting to their own use several motor cars and with the theft of various articles. Both pleaded guilty to taking Scales’s car. The sentence upon both accused was imprisonment for three months, with hard labour, and for steal ins Scales's other Property sir months hard, labour, with the addition ol two years’ reformative treatment. For stealing W. D. Hoircs’s property they received six men lbs’ hard labour, with two years’ reformative treatment; for taking Schofield's car. Foreman’s car, Holdsworth’s car, Harvey's ear. and Or onnor’s motor cycle three months’ hard labour on each char;;?; and far stealing Gadsby’s property, linox’s property, Hawkins's property, six months’ hard labour on each charge: and for stealing Gadsby’s _ property, Knox’s* property. Hawkins's property, six montlis' hard labour on each charge, with an additional two years’ reformative treatment. _ The accused were committed to the Wellington Supreme Court for sentence on a charge of taking Preston’s car.
