BURGLARY AT CHURCH.

SUNDAY COLLECTIONS STOLEN. (Pub United Press Association.) FEILDING, February 11. The vestry of St. John’s Church was broken into last night, the safe blown open, and Sunday’s collections, totalling about £lO, taken. The church door is never locked, and entrance was easy. The collections are usually banked, hut on Sunday night, owing to the absence on holiday of the church treasurer weie for the first time in its history left in the safe. The explosion ruined the safe, but did small damage to the building.
