A HONEYMOON IDYLL
REVELATION OF IDENTITY. PIQUANT PARISIAN COMEDY. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright) PARIS, December 18. (Received Dec. 19, at 5.5 p.m.)) A week ago a young honeymoon couple arrived at an hotel and registered as “Monsieur and Madame Losange,” from Mentone. They took a small suite, and seldom emerged until the afternoon, when they sallied forth to lunch at restaurants and indulge in sight-seeing, notebook in hand, at Montmartre and the Bois de Boulogne. Sometimes they took supper at Montmartre. Madame frequently went shopping, as sundry parcel-laden taxis testified.
Then there was a denouement when “Monsieur and Madame” also became known as the Duke and Duchess of Brabant, after which Paris mobs ended their secret bliss. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
The Duke of Brabant, as the Crown Prince of Belgium is known, was recently married to Princess Astrid of Sweden.
