The Roman Catholic tribes of North Albania, at the instigation of a priest and two officials of the former Government, revolted and defeated small detachments of gendarmes. The Government despatched a stronger force, and it drove the rebels into the Dukajina Mountains. The ringleaders failed to secure the help of the Mussulman orthodox tribesmen. The Jugo-Slavian Government is arresting insurgents crossing the frontier. A. and N.Z. Cable.
