Much interest continues to be shown locall in the project to mine refractory ore in th rich country on the coast line near Thame with the use of German capital. It is know] that arrangements for a commencement o the work within three months are bein quietly anil unostentatiously pursued, an. that the necessary preliminary details ar well advanced. The latest available news from the head quarters of the promoters is that they wil bo on the market within the nest two month with an offer for the purchase of refractor; ores mined from any part of the Peninsula south of Tapu. It is also understood tba mining operations will be commenced withii the next three months.
