MELBA AND ALBANI
STARS AT COYEST GARDEN. LONDON, May 26. Everybody in the musical world attended the matinee at Oovent Garden to commemorate Madame Albani’s triumph in 1872. Dame Nellie Melba presented a floral wreath to Madame Albani. The latter, who is 72 years old, did not speak, but bowed her grateful acknowledgements. Dame Melba and Miss Rosina Buckman sane at the matinee. “The admirable youthfulness of Dame Nellie’s appearance and performance leads us to expect greater successes when she goes to Paris,” says the antic of the Daily Mail
