At a meeting of the waterside workers a resolution was passed of emphatic protest against the injustice of the Arbitration Court’s wages award, as being against the evidence presented to the court, and totally inadequate to provide a. decent standard ot living to the men engaged m the occupation. The resolution calls on the Government to institute a commission of inquiry on waterfront wages in the dominion.
