LABOUR IN A MAJORITY. GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO RESIGN. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. PERTH, April 12. The Labour Party is in an absolute majority as the result of winning one of the two deferred polls. The final state of the parties will be unaltered. The Government intends to resign on Monday, and the Labour Party will elect a Ministry on Tuesday. Mr Collier has been re-elected leader of the party, and it is expected that he will be the Premier. The Opposition has 26 seats as against 24 held by the other parties.
