THE LOWRY BROTHERS AT CAMBRIDGE. (Fbom Odb Own Correspondent.) LONDON, November 29, Relative to the bestowal upon R. H. Lowry of the Rugby Blue by the Cambridge captain, The Athletic'News comments; “In thus getting his Rugby Blue Ralph Lowry has completed the family ‘hat trick,’ for Tom, the eldest, is the cricket Blue and next year’s Light Blue skipper, while Jim skippered the tennis side last summer. Ralph is nearly as good a tennis player as Jim, and during the winter and spring months, while Tom is cricketing in New Zealand, they proceed to the South of France and clear'the board at the various tennis tournaments that are held there. Tom Lowry has played on more than one occasion for the Rugby side. Two years ago ho was playing full hack for the ’Varsity against Trinity Col lege, Dublin, when Malan, the 15-stono scrimmage half-back, ran into liini. One of them was carried off, and it was not Tom! The Lowry family arc most popular at Cambridge, and every one. was very glad to see Ralph get his Blue. He a very useful forward in every rough and tumble—he is not given to talking; ho just does!’’
