Resolved by way of Special Resolution, to operate as a Special Order, that the Taieri River Trust, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by tho Taieri River Improvement Amendment Act, 1921, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, Raise a Special Loan of £3500 for the purpose of Repairing tho Damage caused by the flood in April and May, 1923. That such Loan be raised by the creation and issue of Three Debentures of One Thousand Pounds each, and One Debenture of Five Hundred Pounds, each bearing Interest at the rate of Four Pounds Ten Shillihgs per centum per annum, and having a Currency of Thirty-six years and a-half from the first day of October, 1923, secured on a Special Rate on all the rateable lands as classified under Section 6 of the Taieri River Improvement Amendment Ant 1991 james t.
