CHURCH BAZAARS.

ST, MARY’S. The St. Mary’s Church (Mornington) annual sale of work was opened in the church hall yesterday afternoon. Aided by the tine weather, enthusiastic workers, and open-handed buyers, the bazaar's first day was an undoubtedly successful one and the results augur well for the church funds. The hall was prettily decorated and the attendance throughout the day was very satisfactory. In the evening an entertainment was given by sonic of the children trained by Mrs Greenall. The following were the stall-holders : Guild Stall. —Mcsdamcs Cooper, Kingston, Ponpart, Provo. Art Stall. —Mesdaincs Jeff and H. Smith. Produce. —Mesdames Holland, Davidson, G-.F.S. Stall.' —Mesdames Scurr, Whitcombe, and G.F.S. members. Flower Stall. —Miss E. Clarke. Sweet Stalk—Mrs Paterson and Miss Lake. ■ Christmas Tree. —Mrs Greenall and Whitticase. Men’s Stall. —Members of the Vestry. Tea Rooms.—Mesdames Morris, Gearing, W. Smith, and assistants. The sale will be concluded this afternoon and to-night, when an entertainment will bo given by Miss Holland and Martin and their pupils. HOLY CROSS. The sale of work in aid of the Holy Cross Church building funds was brought to a conclusion in the Coronation Hall, St. Kilda, last night, when a very satisfactory sum was realised. A feature of the evening was an attractive entertainment by Miss Netta Keates and her pupils whose dancing won well merited applause. CAYERSHAM PRESBYTERIAN. The Caversham Presbyterian Church Hall bore an appearance of gaiety and animation last night when the church’s sale of work, the proceeds of which will be added to the funds put by for renovation purposes, was brought to a conclusion. An extensive musical programme was given in the evening. UNITED CONGREGATIONAL. The United Congregational Church’s annual sale of work was concluded yesterday, when there was a large number of visitors throughout the afternoon and evening. In the evening a programme of musical items was given, and was much appreciated by the audience.
