JUST FOR A SHORT SPELL. Prior to going north (and after his visit to the south), Mr A. W. Martin will slay for a limited time in E'unedin before resuming his eighteenth annual visit to the chief cities of New Zealand. Patients desirous of seeing the specialist have, consequently, still an opportunity to do so before he leaves this cjty on his long journey, and they will bo foolish indeed if they neglect doing so. Rupture—ever so slight in the first instance—is as truly progressive in the early as in the worst stages,, and neglect, to get immediate attention has inevitably to bo paid for in unnecessary pain arid discomfort. Those who rely for relief on trusses are simply putting off the evil day when more drastic treatment must be resorted to. The truss that answers the purpose to-day fails.to relievo in a very short time. From week to week or month to month the pads must be enlarged or the springs strengthened, and eventually the surgeon is resorted to, but not necessarily so, for whether the rupture be-recent and slight or of long standing' arid serious, the Dr J. A. Sherman' method of treatment at the hands of Mr A. W. Martin, the specialist, gives immediate relief and eventual cure. Hundreds can testify to the truth of the claim iusfc made, and have expressed by letter and verbally their willingness to do bo. Mr A. W. Martin may be consulted at his rooms, Samson’s Buildings, Dowling street, daily, 10 to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m., Saturdays 10 to 12 noon. ’ A booklet on rupture "and its treatment free to sufferers. —lO/5 i"eZ. ,
