CHRISTIAN CONFERENCE
Over 400 Christians from many parts of» the dominion gathered in Gospel- Hail, Moray place, on January 1,2, and 3 for the annual all-clay meetings. Two missionaries from China were present, one from Africa, one from South America, throe from India, besides 'two missionaries to the Maoris, and about six evangelists who labour in the dominion and Australia These have all gone forth in simple dependence on God for supplying their needs. They testified to His faithfulness in never failing them. No collections were taken for ex- ■ ponses—these for 30 years have been fully met No lists of speakers or subjects were arranged, the Spirit’s guidance, as heretofore, being deemed sufficient. The speakers urged wholehearted service to God, unwavering reliance on Hig Word, and diligence in spreading, the Gospel Message in view of the near approach, of the pergonal return of the Lord.- ;
