Major are of teaching a doctrine contrary to Christianity as set out in the-Prayer Book and the Scriptures, wherein the resurrection of the -body is taught explicitly as a vital element of the system, and of importing Buddhist teachings ihto the Christian religion. Mr Major, interviewed, indignantly denied the latter charge. Regarding the former charge, he said he could not understand of what ho is accused.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
