OTAGO LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the committee of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was held in the secretary’s board room last night, Mr J. H. Meek presiding. The following sub-committees were appointed Match Committee—Messrs J. H. Mack (chairman), R. A. Wilkie, S, C. M'Dougall; Grounds Committee—Messrs 11. Park (convener), J. Edmond, S. Angel, R. S. Black; Competitions Committee—Messrs S N.' Brown (convener), A. Bringans, A. N. Slater, R. Park, A. M'Milkn, J. T. Cooper. . , Tho rules for club matches wore referred to the Competitions Committee, and it was resolved to circularise clubs requesting) them to forward the list of teams they wore entering in the various grades by September 27. It was also resolved to circularise clubs suggesting that they should give assistance to school tennis clubs, and to ask city clubs to endeavour to visit country clubs as much as possible. „ , ’ It was decided to notify clubs that th© association had been asked to form an association club on the six Anderson Bay Courts to provide play for those who cannot obtain admission to the various clubs, the annual subscription lo be £1 Is, and tft advise waiting members and request them to apply to the secretary of tho association.
