MEETING AT INVERCARGILL. . - (Peb United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, September 15. Mr O. E. Statham, M.P., leader oftbo National Progressive and Moderate Labour 'Party, addressed a public meeting here last night, dealing with the policy and aspirations of the party on the same lines as in his northern speeches. There was a large attendance. NEW PARTY’S PLATFORM. The leader of the National Progressiva and Moderate Labour Party, Mr C. E. Statham, M.P., will deliver a policy speech . in Burns Hall to-night. In addition to dealing fully with the. party’s platform, Mr Statham will reply to Various, criticisms, and the audience is invited to submit written questions at the close of ,the. ad-, dress. Mr Statham has <elready addressed meetings in Wellington, Auckland, . and Invercargill,' and in each centre has created considerable interest in the party he is representing.
