TO RELIEVE CATARRHAL DEAFNESS AND HEAD NOISES Persona suffering from catarrhal deafness and head noises will bo glad to know that this distressing affliction can usually be, successfully treated at home by an internal medicine that in many instances has effected complete relief after other treatments have failed. Sufferers who could scarcely hear have had their hearing restored to such au extent that the lick of a watch was plainly audible seven or eight inches away from either cur. Take this homo and add to it i pint of hot water and ilb of crystal sugar; stir until dissolved. Take one tablcspoonf’ul four times a day. Parmint is used in this way not only to reduce by tonic action the inflammation and swelling in tho Eustachian Tubes, and thus to equalise tho air pressure on the drum, but to correct any excess of secretions in tho middle car, and tho results it gives are nearly always quick and effective.
