EVERYBODY’S AND KING EDWARD THEATRES.
“The Follies Girl,” featuring the late Olive Thomas, is the star film in the new programme at Everybody’s and King Edward Theatres. The theme of the picture covers a ruse on the part of the family attorney to briiig about the recovery of Edward Woodruff by introducing a granddaughter whoso existence was unkown to him. The old man, worried over a daughter who had died without forgiving him for an early wrong, and a grandson who had failed to walk in the way he would have him go, has gradually fallen into a state of nervous illness. The young woman introduced into the household in the face of relatives who wait patiently for the end and the inheritance of a fortune, is a member of “The Follies.” She plays her part well, spreads her youthful buoyancy over the old man’s woes, and coaxes him back to partial health. The members of the family place all kinds of obstructions in the way of the charming young nurse. All their machinations come to naught, however, for the “Follies” girl turns out to be the wife of the grandson Ned, and a tiny baby coming on tne scene securely cements the friendship between the old man and the young wife. The supports include, a Topical Budget, “Burglars Bold” (Patho comedy), and the seventh episode of “Silent Avenger.”
