The Australians played the last match of the tour against Cumberland at Whitehaven to-day, play being confined to the one day, Australia won on the first innings by two wickets and 83 runs. The weather was fine, the wicket excellent, and play throughout was lively and interesting, including some hard smiting. Several 6's wore scored. Andrews and Taylor played a breezy partnership, adding 94 to the total. Taylor hit two 6’s and, TO 4's. Pellcw suffered a fractured bone in the left hand. Scores : CUMBERLAND.—First Innings.
