PRINCESS THEATRE
DEBUT O.F MISS LAURA GUERITE. Princess Theatre patrons have been exceedingly well treated latterly, the Fuller firm keeping up a constant succession of important attractions. To-night will mark the debut of the celebrated English revue star, Miss Laura Guerite, an artist who was secured at what is said to be a salary unprecedented on the circuit, by Sir Benjamin Fuller on his last trip Home. Miss Guerite is by birth a-Frenchwoman, and, according to report, she reveals her birfh in her remarkable stylo and insouciance, and in the distinctive individuality of her fracking. On the other hand, hor profcssional career has been spent in London and New York, and she exemplifies the best comedy gifts of both stage stylos. Her art is compounded of broad humour, subtle character touches, and a vein of pure pathos, and all reports acclaim her a wonderfully incisive and compelling artist.
The other newcomer will he Corona, “the wandering musician.” a very clever cornetist. The programme will also include an entirely new first part by the popular “Smart ' Set Diggers,” and new acts by Bergo and English. Marion Mahr, and Brull and Hcmsley.
