ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
(Peu United Pbess Association.) THAMES, July 15. The Coromandol-Thames service car went over a bank at Lynch's Hill yesterday, where tho drop is said to be cOft. The car turned over four times, landing wheels up on the boach. The driver was shaken, ono passenger was unconscious, a well-known commercial traveller had three ribs broken, and a lady passenger had her collarbone broken, a child escaping unhurt. The injured persons were removed to the Coromandel Hospital. AUCKLAND, July 15Gable advice was received to-day from tho commandei of H.M. sloop Veronica, at Port Darwin, of the death by drowning of Sub-lieutenant Alexander B. Ferguson, eldest son of Mr A- M- Ferguson, of Auckland. Deceased was only 19 years of age. The cablegram contained no details of tho fatality. HAMILTON. July 15. Tho body of a newly-born female child was found in the lake in the Domain yesterday afternoon. •
