ACTRESS TELLS SECRET. A WELL-KN own actress tells HOW SHE DARKENED HER GREY HAIR WITH A SIMPLE HOME-MADE MIXTURE. Miss Blanche Rose, a well-known actross, who darkened her grey hair with a simplo preparation which she. mixed'at home, in a recent interview made the following'statement: —"Any lady or gentleman may darken their tfroy hair and mako it 6oft and glossy with this simple treatment, which they can mix at home. To a half-pint of water add loz of bay rum and a small box of Orlex Compound. These ingredients can be bought at any chemist's at very little cost. Apply to the hair twice a week until it beoomes the required shade. This should make a grey-haired person look 20 yoarß younger. It is also fine to help promote the growth of hair, and relievo itching and dandruff." —1 Any tongue but Russian is being encouraged by tno Germans. Recently the German Government issued paper money in tho occupied territories in Russia. The"new notes bear inscriptions in German, Polish, Lithuanian, and Lettish, with no Russian words.
