Although the J. C. Williamson managoniont will have a musical comedy company and a dramatio company in New Zealand during the coming season, we are told that it regards the D. W. Gn'fSths's moving picture, 'Hearts of the World," which is to bo presented at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday, January 4, as its most important attraction. To take the war pictures, Mr Griffiths had to obtain tho special permission of tho British War Office and the prologue of "Hearts of the World" depicts Mr Lloyd George shaking hands with the famous picture producer, prior to the latter s for the battlefields of 1 ranee. While "Hearts of tho World" covers greater areas and contains larger scenes arvj many more people than were concerned m "Intolerance," it also possesses warm humanity, great sincerity and sweet"'rf 5, , A feature of the representation of Hearts of the World" will be the specially written musio which will be performed by a full operatic orchestra, and realistic effects will be worked by a staff of mechanical artists from Sydney.
