Only one pneumonio case (from the Ofcag© district) was notified to the District Health OJJioer yesterday morning. Dr Bowie's Hospital report at noon yesterday was as lollows:—

Main hospital: Dangerously ill, &. seriously ill, 2; moderately ill, 28; convalescent, 9; —total, 44. in tho Knox auxiliary thoro were 13 cases, and in th© Baptist auxiliary five. Of theso five were transferred lrom the former and one from the latter hospital to tho main hospital, and the remainder were sufficiently recovered to enable them to be sent home. The two auxiliary hospitals have now boon closed.

During the past 24 hours three influenza cases wexo admitted to tho Hospital There were no deaths during tho satno period. In connection with the suggestions made by tho Rov. V. G. B. King relative to camps being established near Duncdin for boys and girls in order to give the parents an opportunity to rest during the Christmas holidays, Messrs Thomson nnd Co. have offered to convey the children to their destination in motor lorries, and also to supply thorn with aerated waters.

The epidemic has been of a mild type at ' Rayansbourne. There have been 60 cases in tho district, and only one death occurred. At present only two mild cases of influenza exist.

The Town Cleric, Roxburgh, reports that tho epidemic has disappeared from the district There have been no fresh cases for two weeks, and only one death lias occurred from influenza in tho whole district. The local hospital was closed cm Tuesday.
