OSkaal intimation has been received that bergeant Grfjorgo Robert Bruce B. Berney has been awarded the Military Medal for β-allantry in tho field of action. Sergeant Berney was bom at Owaka, <and after completing his education entered the postal service. Ho was stationed at Hokitika when he enlisted and left with the Eighth Reinforcements.

Advice has been received that Corporal Robert James Cuthill, of Mosgiel, has been awarded ifro Military Medal for gallantry 011 the field of action.

Major B. E. Cooper, eon of Mr Henry Cooper, of Ponsouby, has been awarded the Croix de Guerre. Major Cooper, who has boen serving with tho Royal Garrison Artillery, Imperial Forces, joined his regiment aa a subaltern in 1916. Ho was an old boy of tho Auckland Grammar School, and at one time was on tho reporting staff of tho New Zealand Herald.
