Mr James Richmond MUroy, proprietor of the American Dental Parlours, Wellington, who succumbed to the epidemic early last week, was well known in Ota fro and Southland. Ho was born at. Balclutfia, and resided for a considerable time at Dunedin. whero ho was well known in footbali circles. Ho volunteered for the front, but his services were not accepted. He loaves a widow and one child. His parents reside in Auckland, and his brother (Captain Tom Milroy) is on active service. It is considered by tho drivers of motor cars that moro attention should bo paid to the regulation of street traffic. We understand that in several instances the progress of cars has been greatly impeded as a result of the rule of tho road being ignored by tho drivers of other vehicles. Wandering do?s are also a source of annoyance to the drivers of cars, and have been responsible for more than one narrow escape frarrv accident.
