(Received Sept. 10, at 1.5 a.m.) It is officially announced that the summer time-table will cease on the 17th inst., when the clock will be altered.
SYDNEY, September 8. The steamer Morinda, \vhich had to be scuttled owing to an outbreak of fire in her cargo of copra, has been refloated. SYDNEY, September 9. (Received Sept. 10, at 1.5 a.m.) The Estimates, which will be introduced during the coming week, will provide for an increase on betting tickets of Id to 2d. MELBOURNE, September 8.
The Bill repealing the Daylight Saving Act has been passed through all its stages.
