MELEE BETWEEN PRISONERS.

Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. NEW 1 YORK, September 6. A Jassy despatch to the New York Herald states that there is bitter animosity between the Prussians and Bavarians in von Mackensen's army. They have to be separated when taken prisoner. When numbers of Germans were taken prisoner at. the battle of the Sereth,_ the Bavarians, pointing to the Prussians, shouted to their Rumanian captors: " Kill these Prussian dogs; it is they who are continuing the war. They will ruin us." A fierce melee followed, in. which several prisoners were injured.
