News has been received: that Private Joseph Bailey (Woodbury, Geraldine) is seriously ill, wounded in the arm, leg, and faoe. He is in the 26th General Hospital, Etaples. He joined the 12th Reinforcements at Gimmerburn, and has been at the front fox 12 months. He is a brother of the late William Bailey, who lost, his life some years ago as the result of a football accident. He was an old Port Chalmers School boy.
