Mrs_F. "W. Platts, wife of tho Resident Commissioner at Rarotonga, has arrived in New Zealand.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. havo received cabled advice from thoir head offico in London that Mr Arthur P. Blake has resigned his seat on the company's board of directors, owing to failing health. Tho Hon. Sir Arthur Lawloy has been elected to fill tho vacancy.
