PRINCESS THEATRE

The big audicnces at the .Princess Theatre on Saturday afternoon and evening found plenty of diversion in the big programme of varieties presented. A notable innovation was the introduction of an entirely 2u W * act, put on a day early in order to fill the vacancy caused by the departure of the singers Molinari. The newcomers were the Gadabout Girls, a team of five attractive young women, who scored heavily in a sort of miniature costume comedy entertainment. Prettily costumed, possessed of a repertory of clever songs and comedy stunts,' and full of what the Americans call pep, ' these girls should become one of the most popular acts in the now bill. Tho reappearance of tho coloured comedian, Mr Billy Brown, also occasioncd great diversion. Two additional new acts are announced for to-night. The more 'mportant is Mr Armand Trillcr, whose offering promises to be distinctly novel. By the mere manipulation of bundles of "rags he converts them into the guise of landscape pictures under the eyes of his audience Die northern papers speak of this as ono of the oleverest accomplishments seen on the vaudeville stage for a long time. Many admirers will welcome the reappearance of the clever baajoist, Mr Geo. iVAlnia. For the rest.an entirely new programme will bo offered by Miss Violet TVevonyon Murl fayne, Laurence Johnston, and Carlton anH Sutton. m
