The twin brothers Keith and Lionel Shaw have been committed for trial for the murder of Mr King (the Melbourne commercial traveller) at Katoomba on April 1. , Keith Shaw, in a remarkable confession, admitted that he became possessed /by an overwhelming desire to obtain Mr King's diamond ring. He described hie entering Mr King's room at the boarding-house with absolute pleasure, and dealing seven or eight blows with a hammer with no more conscience than serving tennis balls. He secured tile ring, which he,-then buried at the front gate, went to bed, and slept. "When arrested > Keith Shaw said : "I felt like a person in two parts—one part quite serious, the other as if at a picture show. I don't seem a bit pat out over this." '
